Youth taken on board to aware masses about population explosion

PESHAWAR, 8th February, 2019: Delegation of National Youth Alliance on Family Planning – NYA-FP, representatives of Youth Advocacy Network, Work to Empower and The Dayspring called on Mr Asghar Ali, Secretary Population Welfare Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province to discuss how youth can play it’s part to make people aware about the menace of population explosion in the country. Different representatives of district population departments of KP were also present. It was agreed that Youth has to play its role to aware communities on family planning and population department will support and encourage the youth led initiatives in this regard. Mr Asghar Ali appreciated the efforts of NYA-FP and its member organizations.

District Population officers highlighted ground level work that is already underway. It was agreed that KP department and National Youth Alliance will develop a work-plan for the engagement of youth at district level.
