Youth Parliament holds Young Entrepreneurs Summit

KARACHI: Youth Parliament of Pakistan organized Young Entrepreneurs Summit 2019 and Oath Taking Ceremony of Youth Parliament Sindh Cabinet 2019 at Marriott Hotel, Karachi.

Youth Entrepreneurs Summit is a platform for Youth, Entrepreneurs & Business Leaders Meetup. The summit gave a chance to the registered start-ups to share their work, stories, experience and future goals which will result not just in the growth of their businesses but their networking and marketing as well.

YES also provided an opportunity to new startups and entrepreneurs to showcase and promote their work in front of dignitaries from different codes of life including business leaders, stake holders and media. On this occasion a competition was also held in which new startups gave presentation on their ideas.

Chairman Youth Parliament Mr. Rizwan Jaffar said: “Modern era is the era of technology. It’s a new era of startups and entrepreneurs. Today we are here to appreciate, acknowledge new startups and encourage youth to take new initiatives for themselves and for the development of country”.

YES was graced by several dignitaries from different walks of life. Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah graced the event as Chief Guest. The jury members included Mr. Abid Hussain Beli (Renowned Entrepreneur), Mr. Khizer Ahmed (CEO – Burger Lab) & Ms Samiya Hameed (CEO – Face Value. The Salon Institute by Samiya). The guest speakers included Mr. Nadeem Hussain (CEO – Maazjee), Mr. Fahad Ahmed (President – Project Management for Entrepreneurs) & Mr. Abdullah Bin Zubair (Editor – Mansoba Magazine). The panelists for Pick it up panel included Mr. Ishaq Kothawala (Bykea), Mr. Ahmed Rauf Essa (Telemart), Dr. Iffat Zafar (Sehat Kahani), Mr. Sajid Sheikh (Mechanic Ustaad) and Ms. Gia Farooq (Roshni Rides).The Guest of Honors included (Mr. Akhter Hussain Bugti Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs – Government of Sindh), Mr. Aftab Siddiqui (Member National Assembly – Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf), Mr. Samir Mir Sheikh (Leader – Pakistan Peoples Party), Mr. Yahya Polani (Chairman – Polani Group), Mr. Abdul Rehman Janu (Business Leader), Commodore Akbar Naqi and Mr. Abdul Majeed Abdani (Renowned Educationist).

On this occasion Oath Taking Ceremony of Youth Parliament Sindh Cabinet was also held. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah administered oath to the Sindh Cabinet of Youth Parliament. Members of Youth Parliament Sindh Cabinet shared their manifestos in front of Chief Minister. Addressing Youth Parliament CM Sindh appreciated the initiatives and efforts of Youth Parliament and said: “The vacuum developed with the ban on Students Union has been filled, to some extent, by Youth Parliament”. He also assured his support for Youth Parliament and to connect Youth Parliament Sindh Cabinet secretaries to the ministers of Government of Sindh as per their domain to work together for the betterment of province.
