There is no denying the fact, man and woman have been created by the same creator, but this fact is unknown to many men across the globe in general and patriarchal society of Pakistan in particular. Undoubtedly, women have been going through many ills and evils of society and the worst is that they have been deprived of their due right for education for many decades. However, it is undeniably true that education bears enormous significance for the development of any nation. Similarly, women education plays pivotal role in the socio-economic and political aspects of life. But sadly, in country like pakistan where women are not only subjected to many threats but also they have to cross many obstacles to achieve their goal. Only those nations can hit the sky of success that are shouldered by its women. Quaid e azam, the father of nation rightly said, ” it is a crime against humanity that our women are shut up within the four walls of the houses as prisoners”. In addition, Nelson Mandela, one of the great leader also said, ” give me an educated women and I will give you educated nation. This goes very true for the prosperity of nations and shows the great significance of women education, but regrettably, women are considered mere sub human on the earth. They are not provided with their due rights, in the age of technology, they still live in dark age. The importance of women education can never be denied.
Through women education, country lives a better life. It is women education that has made the ease in humanity, likewise in the stone age there was dearth of lady doctors in result many precious lives were lost. An educated woman, as mother leads the generations in right direction. The importance of women education doesn’t cease here but it’s importance head widely. History witnessed, educated women have contributed to their nation highly. For instance, Fatima Jinnah, the mother of nation was well educated who stood shoulder by shoulder with Quaid e azam for the Independence of the country.
Furthermore, Asma jahangir, a human rights lawyer also enlightened the nation for their basic rights through the power of education. In the same way women education is essential component for the political scenario of the country. A well educated women can lead the country in better way. Such as history can not undo the services of Benazir Bhutto as great leader, she proved her mettle in running the country in robust modest operandi manner. A part from it, present time witnesses itself, those countries which are governed by women as their head are more peaceful and prosperous.
Women education is of paramount importance in the arena of economy. A well educated woman aids greatly in the economy progress. Long were the days when women were confined under the boundaries of home but present time demands the contribution of women also. Educated women grow the economy of country accordingly. But sadly in patriarchal society of Pakistan, women have to bear many miseries on the verdict of certain psuedo mullahs. Even Hazrat khadija, a poius lady used to trade this must encourage women. Moreover, Islam also encourages women education, Islam clearly emphasizes both men and women to seek knowledge as it comes in Hadith, ” it is upon due right on every Muslim man and woman to get knowledge”. Unfortunately this Hadith falls on deaf ears. Owing to certain sick minds in society, country is derailed from its right path of prosperity. Thought the disparity between man and woman have narrowed down in many aspects yet it has to emerge as best so that the country may have good status quo. The reason behind lacking in women education is non seriousness of our government and fuedal mindsets. It is only government which is responsible for the such great loss. Government should make policies to overcome this flaw.
To sum up, women education is the dire need for the progress of any country. By promoting women education we can overcome the worst circumstances arise in the domains of socioeconomic and politics.
