LAHORE: 12th of August marked the occasion of International Youth Day where young people are praised, recognized, and acknowledged all around the world. The United Nations youth day got itself aligned with the making of Pakistan. On the Day of 75th Anniversary of Pakistan, out of thousands of young people, selected young people got acknowledged for their services.
On this occasion, the United Nations and a youth-led organization ‘Youth Revolution Clan’ came up with highlighting and distinguishing the sublime services of youth. One of them was Sarmad Shahbaz Bhutta, from the small village of Thoha Bahadur of District Chakwal, Pakistan whose efforts for uplifting young people were acknowledged.
Sarmad has been rendering services in the domains of the UN SDGs 2030 agenda, intercultural youth empowerment, youth mentorship, cross-governmental diplomacy, and youth & governmental liaison. Previously, Mr. Shahbaz has been recognized with various national and international programs including representing Pakistan in the United States of America, Russia, Turkey, and Malaysia. He has recently published articles in the Finnish curriculum of Quest 5, Edita. Sarmad is a prolific writer and socio-political analyst.
Professionally, Mr. Sarmad is a futuristic technology enthusiast working with a Silicon Valley, California, United States of America-based Financial Technology Organization.
