Lok Virsa Inaugurates ‘Center for National Cohesion’ to Foster Unity Through Cultural Initiatives

ISLAMABAD: Today, Lok Virsa unveiled its newest initiative, the “Center for National Cohesion,” dedicated to fostering unity and solidarity across the nation through cultural means. The center’s mission encompasses extensive research, analytical endeavors, policy formulation, and the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at promoting national cohesion on a comprehensive scale.

Mr. Hassan Nasir Jami, Federal Secretary, National Heritage and Culture Division was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, he appreciated the efforts taken by team of National Heritage and Culture Division and Lok Virsa in setting up the centre. He assured full support from his Division for furtherance of the objectives of the centre.Mr. Muhammad Uzair Khan, Executive Director, Lok Virsa, Mr. Muhammad Kashif Irsahd, Adviser (Culture), Mr. Ahmer Bilal Sufi, Advocate and Dr. Zia, Director General, IRI also spoke about the significance of the centre. Ms. Neelofar Bakhtiar, Chairperson, National Commission on the Status of Women also attended the ceremony.
