MURREE: Kohsar University Murree and the Zakat Foundation of America have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote joint research, academic cooperation, and professional development opportunities for students.
The signing ceremony took place at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, where Dr. Mohsin Hasan Zahid represented the Zakat Foundation, and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rafia Mumtaz signed on behalf of the university.
Under the agreement, both institutions will collaborate on research and development projects, share resources, and strengthen planning for student growth. The MoU also focuses on promoting critical thinking and design thinking among students, enabling them to better understand industry needs and identify new opportunities.
Students will be offered internships, career guidance, and employment support to help them transition effectively into the professional world.
Earlier, a training session titled “From Student Life to Professional Life” was held in the university auditorium. Dr. Mohsin Hasan Zahid—an internationally experienced trainer who has conducted over 600 sessions worldwide—delivered the training to the students.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Rafia Mumtaz thanked Dr. Zahid, presented him with an honorary shield, and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to expanding partnerships that enhance students’ academic and professional development.
