The Tension between Palestinians and eastern Jerusalem Israeli security forces cooked in recent days, setting free some of the worst conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in years.
Israeli security forces have killed around 30 innocent Palestinian Protesters in Gaza, including ten children, and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is still saying that it’s not going to ease up anytime soon. Palestinians group of retaliators, meanwhile, have launched hundreds of missiles into Israel, and killed three people. Seemingly, a response to Israeli police attack the al-Aqsa mosque compound in east Jerusalem on Laylat al-Qadr, the night of redemption and peace, the holiest night. During the attack hundreds of Palestinians were injured. After-what Hamas demanded Israeli forces to withdraw from the compound. In response to that Israel refused and continued the oppression, Hamas’s followed through on its threat by firing rockets toward Jerusalem.
It’s basically Beyond the mosque confrontation, though, there are broader historical and political factors at work. Monday’s was a day when Israeli Jews were celebrating the “reunification” day and after that thousands of Jewish ultra-nationalists had planned to march through Palestinian-dominated East Jerusalem on Jerusalem Day as a demonstration of Jewish sovereignty over the entire city which added more tension to the situation. At the right time Israeli police changed the route, partly due to the violent clashes between security forces and Palestinian demonstrators.
In the supreme court of Israel, the long legal battle was going on in which the court ordered the four Palestinian families to vacate their home and to be replaced by the Jew settlers in eastern Jerusalem sheikh Jarrah and this causes more tension. This case is symbol of they grab the homes of the Palestinian people in Israel. The seizure of Palestinian property is so common in Israel. The protesters are calling it ethnic cleansing by the Israeli armed forces. It seems more like a deliberate strategy of Israeli settlement building and expansion, especially in and around East Jerusalem. This is not only being done to appropriate Palestinian land, but to alter the demographics of the area and prevent the establishment of a sovereign Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital. This strategy to dispossess the Palestinians in East Jerusalem and elsewhere in the West Bank is not new. Indeed, the expulsion of Palestinians in the areas now largely recognized as the official borders of the self-defined Jewish state of Israel was required to establish a Jewish majority. In the history of Israel On May 14, 1948, Zionist leaders unilaterally declared the independence of the state of Israel, sparking the first Arab-Israeli War. During the war, over 400 Palestinian villages and towns were depopulated and obliterated to make way for modern Jewish towns and cities.
The continued deliberate act of occupation of these territories by Israel, combined with the seizure of Palestinian land, are the major causes of conflict.
Rest of all the Arab world and the other Muslim countries are failing to put a clear stance in contradiction to this Zionism of Israel in Palestine, all they are only claiming to have stood by the people Palestine in this long-fought war against Israeli oppression. The other day our Foreign Minister Mr. Shah Mehmood Qureshi came forward after his visit alongside the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan and given quite achievable and long-term resolution to the whole situation, in his press conference in Islamabad he said that all the World Leadership of Muslims should now come forward and bring back together to tell UN and the whole world the cause of dispute between Palestine and Israel and the growing Islamophobic-wave across Europe. He added in his in speech that group of people if continue to fight with each other here in Pakistan on the name of Hurmat-e-Rasool (S.A.W.W) will eventually lead us to nowhere but to pain, as we all know inside that no Muslim on earth can be a Muslim without the utmost love of our Beloved Prophet (S.A.W.W), we should instead combat our case at world stage in a very well-thought-of method against all odds contrary to Islam and Muslims.
Which I for myself think will be a very spot-on approach to the matter. It is not just the duty of the Muslim leadership across the world but each of the Muslim living US, UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia and in another place to spread love peace and harmony which is the real message of our Beloved Prophet (S.A.W.W) and Islam. Only by spreading love and harmony we can expect the same from the rest of the world.
