ISLAMABAD: inDrive announced its partnership with Islamabad United for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, reinforcing its strong commitment to empowering communities and promoting sports across Pakistan.
“Cricket holds a special place in Pakistan’s heart, and through our sponsorship of Islamabad United, we’re showing our dedication to nurturing local talent and providing opportunities for young athletes,” said Muhammad Awais Saeed, Country Lead at inDrive Pakistan.
“We believe in the power of sports to bring people together and make a positive impact,” said Hassan Zaman, Marketing Manager for South Asia at inDrive. “By supporting youth engagement and investing in sports infrastructure, our goal is to leave a lasting and meaningful change on Pakistan’s sports scene.”
Lucky inDrive users and Islamabad United fans will get the chance to visit the team’s training grounds for an exclusive meet-and-greet with their favorite stars. Families who win will be picked up in an inDrive ride, accompanied by Islamabad United’s beloved mascot, Sheru, adding a fun and unforgettable twist to the experience.
But inDrive’s commitment to sports goes beyond the cricket field. Earlier in Ramadan, the company launched the innovative “Ride to Donate Pakistan” initiative, aimed at building modern sports facilities in schools across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
As part of this initiative’s first phase, inDrive is funding the construction of three new sports grounds in Karachi, at Syed Asghar Ashfaq Girls & Boys Primary School, Saran Educational Trust, and GBSS Kara Bhai Kareem Jee School. These new facilities will offer thousands of underprivileged children safe, dedicated spaces to play sports and stay active, helping them build teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
To add even more excitement, Islamabad United’s star bowler, Rumman Raees, known for his legacy of giving back to the community, will visit these inDrive-sponsored playgrounds. He’ll meet with aspiring bowlers, share tips to improve their skills, and inspire the next generation of cricket stars.
