Capital Administration and RJS organize free medical camp

ISLAMABAD: City administration Islamabad in collaboration with a non governmental organization RJS Life Care, organized a free medical camp in Islamabad’s underprivileged area of G-12 on Sunday. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Hamza Shafqaat and Senator Seemi Ezdi visited the camp and applauds the organizers for arranging the free camp.

Hamza Shafqaat, while talking to media said that city administration always facilitates such activities. “I urge other organizations as well to reach out to rural areas of Islamabad for free medical camps ” he said.

Senator Seemi Ezdi said that government is committed to ease people and is trying its best to fill the health related gaps and such interventions from NGO sector are really helpful for the government to minimize the health burden on public health facilities.

Around 150 patients were facilitated for free medical checkup by consultants from different departments ,including General physicians, Gynecologist, urologist, pediatrician and nutritionist. Deserving community from the vicinity were also provided with free medicines and diagnostic services.

At the end Chairman RJS, Dr. Rashid Jahangir, on behalf of the team, thanked all the participants and dignitaries and assured them continuity of free medical camps in different areas of Islamabad.
