Ehsaas Program Awareness

Our Government took initiative of Ehsaas program to help poor and needy people in this very difficult time, but a large bulk of most deserving and needy people don’t have awareness about this program.

Government should launch more aggressive awareness campaign of Ehsaas program. A very large number of the poor population especially in rural areas do not have televisions at their home; they cannot buy daily newspaper from where they can know about this program. Illiterate females do not have access to mobile phones.

I think apart from government it is also our nation duty to reach out and aware those people. If we look around ourselves there are many poor people and we should aware them about Ehsaas program.

There is a man who lives close to our house, he is very poor and he is a rickshaw driver due to lock down he cannot earn money and he is in need of financial support and food. We asked him that if he got registered in Ehsaas program. He said “What is Ehsaas Program?” Then we told him the whole process and he got registered.

The government should also take strict action against Ehsaas program money distribution staff. There are multiple incidents nationwide where innocent people were robbed off their rightful amount of support money.
