By: Ahsan Yameen

RAWALPINDI: In the wake of Murree’s district status upgrade, a new campus of Divisional Public School and College Rawalpindi has been inaugurated at Government High School Murree, catering to students from playgroup to Class VII. Officials reveal this mirrors developments in other districts, with incentives including fee waivers for early enrollees, a pending admission test date, and teacher recruitment for core subjects. Monthly fees are structured, with plans for regular sessions beginning in November 2023.

Students at the Murree campus also have the option to transfer to Divisional Public School and College Rawalpindi after the winter break, and winter fee waivers are available for those unable to attend in Rawalpindi.

In a separate initiative to enhance sanitation, Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha presented two new compactor vehicles to the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company, aimed at improving the sanitation system in Murree. The handover ceremony included key officials from the district.
