RIYADH: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him – received today at the Royal Court in Riyadh, His Excellency Mr. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
The official reception ceremony was held for His Excellency, where the Saudi Royal and Chinese National Anthems were played.
Then, His Highness the Crown Prince and the Premier of the Chinese State Council held an official discussion session.
His Highness the Crown Prince welcomed His Excellency and his companions on their visit to the Kingdom, wishing them a pleasant stay, while the Premier of the Chinese State Council expressed his thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and warm reception he and the accompanying delegation received.
After that, His Highness the Crown Prince and the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China chaired the fourth session of the Saudi-Chinese High-Level Joint Committee.
During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries were discussed, especially areas of coordination in political and security aspects, trade opportunities, energy, investment, culture and technology, in addition to developments in the region and the latest developments at the international level, and the efforts of the two countries towards them.
Then, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China signed the minutes of the fourth session of the Saudi-Chinese High-Level Joint Committee.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince hosted an official luncheon in honor of the Premier of the Chinese State Council.
The reception was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, His Excellency Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, His Excellency Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi (accompanying minister), His Excellency Minister of Tourism Mr. Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, His Excellency Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, His Excellency Minister of Finance Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, His Excellency Minister of Media Mr. Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, His Excellency Governor of the Public Investment Fund Mr. Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayan, and His Excellency Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to China Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi.
The meeting was attended from the Chinese side by His Excellency Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zhuanglong, His Excellency Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao, His Excellency Minister of Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission Xiuxiu Aqiang, Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom Zhang Hua, Vice Foreign Minister Ding Li, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission Liu Sushe, Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism Li Qun, and Director of the Office of the Premier Kang Xiuping.
