ISLAMABAD: Ambassador Salahuddin Choudhry and his daughter, Saima Salahuddin, hosted a captivating art exhibition at their residence in Islamabad, marking the grand inauguration of ‘Aimonay Galleria’ by Saima Salahuddin. The prestigious event brought together esteemed guests, including the Ambassador of Belgium Charles Delogne, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh Ruhul Alam Siddiqu in Pakistan, the newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to Nigeria Maj. Gen. Suhail Ahmed, and various other dignitaries and their families.
The gathering commenced with an exhibition showcasing an array of remarkable artworks from talented artists, including the young artist Syed Khurram Abbas, former Ambassador Naila Chohan, Aimon, Eram Wani, Nazir Hunzai, Suhaina and several others. The displayed art pieces were very impressive conveying their creativity and thought-provoking concepts.
Following the art exhibition, Ambassador Salahuddin Choudhry expressed his gratitude to all the guests for gracing the occasion and highlighted the significance of art and music in enriching our lives, particularly in the context of UN-designated ‘World Music Day’ commemorated on 21st June. He emphasized how art serves as a powerful medium for expressing emotions, ideas, and cultural heritage, fostering understanding and appreciation among diverse communities.
The inauguration of ‘Aimonay Gallaria,’ spearheaded by Saima Salahuddin, added a new milestone to the art and cultural scene, providing a platform for emerging and established artists to showcase their talent. The gallery aims to promote artistic creativity, cultural exchanges, and collaboration within the creative communities home and abroad.
The event continued with a delightful fusion of music and a sumptuous BBQ dinner, creating an ambiance of warmth and camaraderie. The presence of distinguished guests and their families added to the elegance and significance of the evening.
