Breaking Barriers: Safeguarding women’s Right to Education in Secure Environment

I would like to draw the attention of authorities concerned towards an essential issue of women safety and education in Pakistan. These two matters go hand in hand as women education is linked to its safety. While concerning to women safety in Pakistan, progress has been made but only in urban areas, but there are still challenges that need to be addressed especially in rural areas, women still feel her unsafe and this is also a reason of low literacy rate of girls in rural areas. It’s important to raise awareness to promote gender equality and women security for creating safe and better environment to work. Education is crucial for everyone, including women, to empower them and to create more equal society.

According to the World Bank collection of development indicators reported in 2018, Pakistan has only 44.84% females that go to universities while rest of females remains uneducated, they lack opportunities to go to university. Safety issue is one of root cause behind it. We should take steps to educate females because they make half of our population if they remain uneducated, it means that our half of the population remains uneducated and for educating women, we must need to provide safe environment for females. Education of woman is concerned with education of her whole family as an educated woman can bring up educated children and society. She can play an important role in the development of country. So we must educate women.
