MIRPUR, AJK – The Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) government has unveiled a Rs3 billion endowment fund to combat unemployment by providing interest-free loans to skilled youth.

AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq announced the initiative during a press conference in the state’s capital on Wednesday. He emphasized that the fund aims to eradicate joblessness and create new opportunities for the youth of Azad Kashmir.

This significant move comes amidst economic challenges, alongside a substantial Rs23 billion package from the Pakistani government, showcasing their commitment to the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir.
