ISLAMABAD, 5th January, 2019: A government must be responsive and responsible towards the needs of the youth that voted it to power, said Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Mohammad Khan in a gathering arranged to discuss the role of Parliamentarian in the protection of Human Rights and Justice

President Youth Parliament Ubaid Qureshi during the address stated that: “What is the role of youth given to by the Politicians in Parliament after entering into the Parliament?” He said; “it’s our dilemma that Future generation have no role in the policy making, Being a Youth Activist he requested to the Minister for giving right to the youth of Pakistan in the legislation through question answers, and resolutions. Current Government take positive steps through promoting Volunteerism and Activism in the youth.” President added: “it’s youth responsibility to support the Government and should give positive and fruitful suggestions in the legislation for better tomorrow. We invite and welcome all other youth activist to support our initiative thanks to the Parliamentarians for their support in Youth delegation visit to the Parliament. Youth Parliament will work on Reforms and Policy with Parliamentarians and support them in Legislation.”

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad has said that problems of the youth will be resolved in and outside parliament. Addressing a conference on “The Role of Parliament in Protection of Human Rights and Justice,” the minister said that the youth and younger generation have to play a leading role for the better tomorrow of the country. He pledged that human rights will be protected at all cost within the country.
“The progress and prosperity of the country are directly linked to the leading role of our younger generation and they should be more proactive to assume responsibility in a more responsible way,” he added.
