As a matter of fact, the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi had been on a visit to UAE, that according to the critics was to shatter the Kashmir movement and to make Pakistan realize that it will be internationally isolated if it goes into a war with India. On his visit to UAE, he was awarded with the highest civil award of Abu Dhabi by Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed also known as MBZ, the crown prince of UAE.
Pakistan is a country with a struggling economy and had recently taken loans from its allies including Saudi Arabia, Qatar etc and it had to go for the IMF program to fulfill her needs and to bring her economy back on track.
Prime Minister Modi had been criticized over the decision of removing the special status of the Indian administered Kashmir, which has not just infuriated the people of Kashmir and Pakistan but their own opposition stands against the government and call this act of government as the peak of atrocities over the people of Kashmir
Kashmir to the world might just be a small piece of land but hold a lot of significance for India and Pakistan, in fact it is the only bone of contention between India and Pakistan. Prime Minister Modi had been criticized over the decision of removing the special status of the Indian administered Kashmir, which has not just infuriated the people of Kashmir and Pakistan but their own opposition stands against the government and call this act of government as the peak of atrocities over the people of Kashmir and the Article 370 was the only agreement upon which the king of Kashmir Maharaja Hari Singh decided to join hands with India despite realizing the fact the major population was of Muslims.
Now in such a situation where the people of Kashmir are seriously working for their independence and the two nuclear states (India and Pakistan) are about to have a war, and both wish to have strong allies and are working to internationally isolate each other. Pakistan had stayed in international isolation in the past few years due to poor foreign policy but the things were about to change after the Prime Minister Khan took his office. UAE hold a lot of importance to Pakistan and was once considered a reliable friend of Pakistan but it is a universally acknowledged fact that true friendships can be observed only in times of crisis and the “order of Zayed”, the highest civil award of Abu Dhabi awarded to Mr. Modi in such a crucial time depicts their foreign policy which would stand with its 3rd largest oil costumer than a reliable but poor friend.
