Murree: A shocking and deeply disturbing incident has been reported from the limits of Police Station, Phagwari, where a 14-year-old boy was found murdered under suspicious circumstances on Thursday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Moeez, son of Sajjad. According to family sources, the boy had gone missing the previous night, after which a missing person report was lodged at Murree Police Station.

The body was discovered early in the morning when the father, returning home after Fajr prayers, found his son hanging in the courtyard of a neighboring house.

The body was shifted to THQ Hospital Murree for post-mortem examination. Police officials from Phagwari Police Station were also present at the hospital as part of the investigation process.

Initial findings suggest the incident is suspicious in nature. While speculations are circulating regarding possible motives, including kidnapping or sexual assault followed by murder, authorities have refrained from confirming any specific angle at this stage. Our sources revealed alarming signs at the scene. Blood stains were reportedly found on a nearby bed, and the boy’s body was allegedly found nude while hanging, raising strong suspicions of sexual assault followed by murder.

According to preliminary post-mortem findings, the death has been confirmed as a homicide.

A formal investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances and motive behind the tragic incident. Police have assured that all aspects of the case are being thoroughly examined.
