4 Pakistani YouTube Channels to Follow

By Shay Arsalan

So you’re bored or got some time to kill, what do you do? Of course recheck your Facebook Newsfeed about a million times (just in case you’d miss some earth shattering news) or visit other various social media apps (do I really have to name them?)
But since my title is about YouTubers it is quite obvious that I’ll be writing about our “Oher” favourite pastime, which is watching videos in YouTube. Movies, Songs, Trailers, Discussions, Drama, Rantings you name it and YouTube’s got it.
This is a probable reason why YouTube is swarming with new YouTubers and fresh content every single day. But then, not every video grabs your attention, not every vlogger or Production Company offers you fresh content and makes you want to hit the coveted Subscribe button.
With the influence of my Pakistani husband I have discovered several channels that made my YouTube surfing a complete package of entertainment. Not in any specific order, here’s a list of Pakistani YouTube channels that you should be following.

#1 Danish Ali
A Comedian and a Doctor (who would’ve thought that?) who started off through Facebook and then successfully jumped into YouTube. His videos are simply hilarious with situations you can actually relate to and the best part is that his jokes are always clean so you can enjoy it anywhere.

#2 Teeli
Now this is an entertainment channel that’ll keep you addicted with their hilarious videos. Comprising of various artists, their videos are often about our relationships and the society we live in. My personal favourite is Rishta for Sale, where they show how arrange marriages can often seem like business transactions.

#3 Junaid Akram
Known for his catch phrase “Khalli Karao” Junaid’s vlogs are an amalgamation of discussing current social/political topics, travel vlogs, trending challenges and more all done in his own style. Listening to his hilarious take on current social events will put a smile to your face. His attempt at the Kiki Challenge is a must watch.

#4 Irfan Junejo
With subscribers over 400k he is one of the most accomplished vloggers and content creators of Pakistan. His content ranges from tutorials to travel guides and current social issues. Recently he was in news when he accused that the YouTube channel of The Government of Pakistan stole clips from his Naran video and instead of apologising for using clips without his permission, the channel commented that they were promoting the content. However due to copyright infringement, YouTube terminated the channel of The Government of Pakistan.
